What You Need to Know

As a Dyslexia interventionist, students will receive a structured literacy lesson based on Orton-Gillingham practices. The lesson will be multi-model, systematic, and based on individual needs.

As a thought leader and experienced educator, I can bring high energy, thought-provoking, and engaging content that will add value to teachers in grades K-12. As a John Maxwell Certified Speaker, I can inspire literacy transformation in all leaders.  Leaders must show the way to lead the way.

As a John Maxwell certified coach, I  can support school leaders in their literacy transformation by leading conversations around MTSS which includes aligning evidence based instruction to the systems and structures that will support all students' growth K-12.  I was a public school educator for 33.5 years having taught third, fifth, sixth, and seventh grades with a focus on literacy.  I served as a District Reading Specialist and Interventionist, as well as, a Middle School Reading Specialist, Interventionists, and Literacy Coach.  I earned a Masters of Reading degree from UW-Oshkosh, a National Board Certification in Early Adolescence English, and a Structured Literacy Dyslexia Interventionist CERI Certification. I am also LETRS trained.
